Choosing business and finance icons

Business icons appear in dashboards, reports, pitch decks and admin panels. They often sit next to numbers, so they should support the data rather than compete with it.

Dashboards and admin panels

Use line or solid icons at 20–24 px in navigation and table headers. One-color icons take on your text color, so they follow light and dark themes without extra work. Keep one stroke weight across the whole interface: mixing 1.5 px and 2 px strokes is one of the most common reasons a dashboard feels untidy.

Presentations and reports

Slides and PDFs have room for color. Flat and line color icons help readers scan a page of results, such as a chart for revenue, a group of people for headcount or a calendar for deadlines. Pick two or three accent colors and recolor the icons in the editor to match your brand.

Money and currencies

If you show prices in several currencies, use a pack that has every symbol you need (dollar, euro, pound, yen, rupee and so on) in the same style, and pair the symbol with the currency code, such as USD or EUR, for clarity.

Status and alerts

Approvals, warnings and errors appear all over admin panels. Use the same status icons everywhere: a check for done, a clock for pending, an exclamation mark for warnings. Pair each one with a color and a word, so the status stays clear in print and for readers who can't tell colors apart.

Icon groups to plan for

  • Charts: bar, line, pie, growth and decline
  • Money: wallet, card, invoice, receipt, bank
  • Work: briefcase, calendar, meeting, presentation, document
  • People: team, user, handshake, target

Before you download

  • Choose one stroke weight and one size for the whole dashboard.
  • Check that the pack covers every chart type and currency you show.
  • Pick two or three accent colors for reports and slides.
  • Use SVG in your product and large PNGs in slide tools.
  • Use one icon per concept, and keep that meaning on every screen.

Questions about business icons

Short answers on formats, editing and use.

Which icon style suits a financial dashboard?

Line or solid icons at 20–24 px. They stay quiet next to numbers and charts, and one-color icons follow your theme automatically.

Can I match business icons to my brand colors?

Yes. Open an icon in the editor to recolor it with a swatch or a hex value, then download it as SVG or PNG.

Are business icons good for presentations?

Yes. Flat and line color icons read well on slides. Download PNG at a large size for slide tools, or SVG if your tool supports vectors.

Can I use business icons in commercial projects?

Yes. IconHub icons are free for personal and commercial projects with attribution. You can't resell them as files or use them in a logo. The license page has the full summary.
